There are all kinds of Sci-Fi out there, and they don&amp;#39;t always get the science exactly right.  I don&amp;#39;t mind so much.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And some of that Sci-Fi is purely speculative.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So I say that you are the winner of the argument, because your mind is open and the other person&amp;#39;s mind appears to be closed.  Doesn&amp;#39;t real science require an open mind?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Remember the line from MIB?  This, to me, is science.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;quot;Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet.
